HomeThe Payne County Sheriff's Department has one Investigator. As the Investigator for the Payne County Sheriff's Department the Investigators primary duty is to Coordinate on-going Investigations with Field Deputies, assist them in their investigations as required and handle his own case load.
The Investigator also investigates major crimes such as Homicide and Child Abuse.
Upon the completion of an Investigation the case report is forwarded to the Payne County District Attorney's Office for their review. The Investigator and Field Deputies also attend the necessary court appearances as required.
